The device should be installed in the imme-
diate vicinity of the guarded area. However,
install it in such a way that the PIR points
downward and the ultrasound generator up-
ward. If installed otherwise, water may pen-
etrate.
Secure the retaining plate on the wall using
the mounting material provided. Should the
supplied screws and plugs are not be suit-
able for your wall, please use others.
Then, suspend the animal repeller in the re-
taining plate from above (B) and then slide it
down until it clicks into place. The tilt can be adjusted so that the animal repeller can be aligned
appropriately.
The range of the PIR movement sensor is max. 7 m with a detection angle of 110°.
The battery compartment can remain open for the first function test in order to effect
further settings. However, moisture must not get in. Do not make installations/setups
during rain!
Close the battery compartment for normal operation.

Operation

1. Ultrasound generator
2. Loudspeaker
3. PIR movement sensor
4. "VOLUME" control knob The volume of the bird of prey sound simulator is set with this
control. We recommend setting the control knob somewhat at the centre by default.
5. Rotary knob "SENS": The sensitivity of the PIR sensor is set with this control. If the sensitiv-
ity is too low, a signal is not triggered or only when large animals are detected. However, if
the sensitivity is too high, unnecessary signals may be triggered. We recommend setting the
control knob somewhat at the centre by default.
6. On/off slide switch: You can use this slide switch to toggle between the functions OFF, bird
of prey sound simulator (SOUND) or ultrasound generator (ULTRA).
Select the bird of prey sound simulator to repel songbirds, etc.
Select the bird of prey generator sound simulator to repel dogs, cats, etc.
7. LED indicator to control the ultrasound function: The LED is on as soon as the ultrasound is
activated.
8. "TEST" button to activate the ultrasound function: Select the function ultrasound generator
(ULTRA) with the On/OFF slide switch. Press the "TEST" button. The ultrasound generator
is switched on for 20 seconds and the LED is on. This function does not have a function
when the slide switch is in position "OFF" and "SOUND" (bird of prey sound simulator).
9. Battery compartment
