e) Function "SETUP"

Submenu "Power"

In this setting function, you can select when the player is supposed to turn off if no button is
pressed or no file played back.
This function can also be deactivated.

Submenu "Language"

If available with this version of the Multimedia Player, you can select the language for the
display here.

Submenu "Display Setting"

Here you can set the time during which the background illumination is turned on after pressing
a key. Set a short time here to achieve a long service life and save power.

Submenu "System Tools"

• Function "Delete file":
Serves to delete a file. If you do not want to do this directly on the computer, you can select
the desired file after calling up the function "Delete File". Then press the button "" (5).
A confirmation prompt appears.
To delete the file, select "YES" and press the button "" (5).
To not delete the file, select "NO" and press the button "" (5).
The button "M" (4) takes you back to the function selection.
• Function "Format":
The memory was preformatted by the manufacturer. You generally only need to format the
memory if the Multimedia Player was accidentally removed from the PC prior to the end of
a copy process. This may damage the file system (e.g. strange file names appear, etc.).
With "Quick", you can quick-format the memory (only takes a few seconds and only the table
of contents in the memory is deleted) or carry out a complete formatting with "Complete" (this
may take a few minutes).
