Troubleshooting

Problem
Device cannot be switched on.
No playback of files or a certain file is
not played back.
The computer does not recognize the
multimedia player or the rechargeable
battery is not charging.
The multimedia player turns itself off.

Maintenance

To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Turn the mp3 player off before cleaning, otherwise the touch-pad may accidentally trigger functions.
Don't press too hard on the display, this may cause scratch marks or lead to failure of the display.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Dust can easily be removed with the help of a clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Solution
• Is the rechargeable battery empty? Charge it as described in this operating
instructions.
• Check the "HOLD" slider.
• Is the multimedia player connected with a computer via USB? Playback is not
possible then. First separate the device from the computer.
• The file cannot be played back or displayed because the multimedia player does
not support this format.
• Use a USB port that can provide a current of 500mA.
This is e.g. the USB port of a computer or a USB hub with an inherent power
supply.
• Some notebooks cannot provide power supply on the USB port. Use an external
USB hub with its own power supply unit or the enclosed power pack in this case.
• Is the rechargeable battery empty?
• Check the settings for automatic shutoff. The multimedia player can turn off
automatically if no buttons are pushed and no files are played back to save
energy.
• Set the transfer mode to MSC to display the device as a mass storage device in
the Windows Explorer.
