Clearing faults

In Renkforce 8 in 1 universal remote control you have acquired a product which has
been designed to the state of the art and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Please observe the safety instructions!
The LCD user interface displays nothing
• The batteries are flat. Insert new batteries.
• The batteries have not been inserted correctly.
The addressed device does not respond to commands issued using the remote
control
• Decrease the distance to the device. The maximum range is approx. 8 – 10 m.
• Make sure that you direct the remote control to the device and that there are no
obstacles between the remote control and the device.
• Make sure that the transmitted commands have been properly programmed.
• Make sure that the desired device was selected with the corresponding device
selection key (5).
The device cannot be controlled even after re-programming the device commands
• Make sure that the positions of the original remote control and the universal remote
control relative to each other were correct during programming.
• Delete the commands of the device and reprogramme them.
• Make sure that the commands of several devices are not stored on the same
device selection key (5).
The „ERROR" indicator is displayed during programming
• Keep pressing the key of the original remote control in programming until the
display "OK" appears.
• Slightly change the positions of the original remote control and the universal
remote control relative to each other and reprogramme the function.
