• The remote control can be programmed for infrared commands only. Programming
radio or ultrasonic commands is not possible. Apart from that, some infrared
commands that use a special coding method cannot be taught. This, however,
happens only rarely.
• To save energy, the LC operating display will switch off after approx. 90 seconds
if keys are not operated. To reactivate the display, simply press the display with
your finger or move the remote control.

Device selection keypad

• On this keypad, press the key assigned to the device you want to control.
• The remote control will highlight the activated key with an associated icon to
indicate that this key is active. The control keys (4) required for a device of the
selected type will be displayed.
• To control a different device, simply press the associated device selection key (5).
• If a device selection key (5) is pressed twice, the second side of the operating keys
(4) will appear in the display.

Adapting the control keypad

Before you programme the various commands of your original remote controls, you
should adapt the user operating keys to the keys of your original remote control.
• Press the device selection key (4), the
display of which you wish to alter for approx.
4 seconds.
• The keys 2, 4, 6 and 8 will appear. Press
each of these keys until they are hidden.
This procedure prevents inadvertent
programme changes.
