2.5 Battery Installation and Use
The balance may also be powered by batteries. Remove the battery cover and install
four alkaline AA (LR6) type batteries, (not included). Refer to Figure 2.5 to properly
install the batteries. Under battery power a battery symbol is shown on the left side of
the display. The Auto-Off setting is useful for conserving battery power, see section
4.2.1.
