DCF reception
•
This is a signal which is sent by a transmitter in
Mainfl ingen (near Frankfurt am Main). Its range is
up to 1,500 km and if transmission conditions are
ideal, even up to 2,000 km.
•
Among other things, the DCF signal includes the
precise time (theoretical deviation of 1 second in
a million years!) and the date.
•
This means, of course, that there is no elaborate
manual setting of summer and winter time.
•
When placing the clock, the following locations
should be avoided:
-
inside or near concrete / steel buildings or
structures, unless the clock is close to / next
to a window.
-
close to a power station
-
inside a moving vehicle where radio transmission
or electronics interference may occur
-
too close to any household appliances
-
close to construction sites, traffi ce lights,
roadside or neon lights
-
close to or on top of metal surfaces / plates.

Directly after the fi rst start-up the attempt to receiver the DCF signal takes place.
2.
Detection of the DCF signal and its evaluation can last up to ten minutes. The radio tower symbol
fl ashes during the reception attempt. Do not make any adjustments while DCF reception is in
progress.
3.
If reception is successful, the radio tower symbol
appears below the radio tower.
4.
Bad reception is to be expected, e.g., with metallised insulated glass windows, reinforced concrete
construction, coated special wallpaper or in a cellar.
5.
If there is still no current time indicated in the display after ten minutes, change the installation
location of the wireless table clock. Then briefl y press the button SET / WAVE (F) on the back of
the device.
6.
If the reception attempt failed after the fi rst start-up, the device tries to receive the DCF signal at
an interval of three hours, for ten minutes each time.
7.
You can initiate a new reception attempt at any time by briefl y pressing the WAVE/SET button on
the back of the device.
8.
Reception attempts for the daily automatic synchronisation with DCF time take place at night at
2, a.m., since as a rule little interference due to electronic devices is to be expected during this
time.

Activation de la fonction veille
1.
Appuyer sur la touche ALARM (B) jusqu'à ce quel
fonction de veille est activée.
2.
Pour mettre l'alarme en veille, appuyer une fois sur la touche SNOOZE/ALERT STOP/LIGHT (A).
L'alarme retentira à nouveau au bout de cinq minutes environ.
3.
Pour arrêter l'alarme complètement, appuyer sur la touche ALARM (B) jusqu'à ce que
s'éteignent. La fonction d'alarme est désactivée.
Mesure de la température/de l'humidité
La température et l'humidité sont mesurées par l'unité principale et le capteur lorsque les piles sont
insérées. La température et l'humidité mesurées par l'unité principale seront affi chées dans la section
"INDOOR". La température et l'humidité mesurées par le capteur seront affi chées dans la section
"REMOTE".
Valeur maximum/minimum de la température/de l'humidité
•
Pour affi cher la valeur maximum de la température/de l'humidité dans la mémoire, appuyer une fois
sur la touche MAX / MIN /▲ (G), le symbole "MAX" apparaît.
•
Pour affi cher la valeur minimum de la température/de l'humidité dans la mémoire, appuyer une fois
de plus sur la touche MAX / MIN /▲ (G), le symbole "MIN" apparaît.
•
Pour réinitialiser la mémoire, appuyer sur la touche CLEAR
Alternance entre les unités de température
L'unité de température implicite est ºC, appuyer sur la touche ºC/ºF (E) pour alterner entre les unités
affi chées.
Alerte de température et d'humidité
La fonction d'alerte de température et d'humidité vous avertira lorsque la température ou l'humidité
atteignent une certaine valeur.
