Wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer

Intended Use
The product displays the indoor and outdoor temperature and the indoor and outdoor air humidity as well
as the time of the day, the date, the weekday and the moon phase. An alarm function is also integrated.
A weather forecast for the next 12 - 24 hours is displayed via graphic symbols.
The measured data of the outdoor sensor are transmitted to the base station via a wireless radio connection.
The product is battery-operated.
Any use other than described above may damage the product, there may also be other dangers.
Read these operating instructions completely and carefully as they contain very important information about
installation, operation and handling. Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included
in these operating instructions.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use
or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will be null
and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted for safety
and approval reasons (CE). Never open/dismantle it (except as described in these operating
instructions for inserting/changing the batteries).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the outdoor sensor emits
only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-supporting sys-
tems. The same may also apply to other areas.
• The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for incorrect displays, measurements or
weather forecasts or the consequences which might arise from this.
• The product is intended for private use and not suited for medical purposes or informing the
public.
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. The product contains
small parts, glass (display) and batteries. Position the product so it is out of the reach of
children.
• The base station is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor areas. Do not expose the product to
direct sunlight, strong heat, cold, humidity or moisture; otherwise it may be damaged.
• The outdoor sensor is suitable for use in outdoor areas. It must not be used in or under water,
this will destroy it.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• When the product is taken from a cold room to a warm room (e.g., during transport), conden-
sation may be produced. This could damage the product. Wait until the product has reached
room temperature before using it. This may take several hours.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental falls, even
from a low height.
Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay attention to plus
and minus).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; there is a risk that they could be swallowed by

children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

• Leaking or damaged normal/rechargeable batteries in contact with the skin can cause acid burns; there-
fore, use suitable safety gloves.
• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces
coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably damaged. Thus, store batteries/rechargeable
batteries in a suitable location.
• Ensure that the batteries/rechargeable batteries are never short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into a fire.
There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Charge only recharge-
able batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries. Old
batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damages on the product; loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Always exchange the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries, only use batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries of the same type, by the same manufacturer and in the same charging state (do not mix charged
batteries with half-charged or flat batteries/rechargeable batteries).
• Never mix normal batteries with rechargeable batteries. Use either batteries or rechargeable batteries.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read the chapter
"Disposal".
