Prescribed use
This timer is used to set two separate times. Furthermore, the timer is able to optionally display
the time in 12 or 24 hours format.
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Voltage is supplied via 2 x 1.5 V coin cells (type: LR44).
Any other use than that described above, could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
Observe the safety instructions in their entirety!

Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to obser-
ve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only will the CE
approval become void but also the warranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use pro-
tective gloves.
• The timer should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
intense vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to
adjust to the surrounding temperature. Wait until the timer has adjusted to
the ambient temperature before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of
children!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure concerning the safety
and the correct use of the timer.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic
foil/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suf-
focation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- it has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat sources
are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from a low height
and any pressure applied to the timer can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. You run the risk of causing
a fire or a fatal electric shock.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.

• Batteries should be kept out of children's reach.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by chil-

dren or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable
protective gloves.
• Make sure that the battery is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-
teries which are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the timer is not to be used for a longer period (e.g. storage), remove the battery. Old batter-
ies may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guar-
antee.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter „Disposal".

Start up/ inserting the batteries
• Remove the cover of the „battery compartment" (12) by pulling it downwards.
• Insert both button cells provided in the „battery compartment" (12) observing the correct polar-
ity (plus pole upwards). To confirm the start up, a beep will be emitted and the display will show
all segments for a brief period. Following that, the display indicates both adjustable times of
the timer T1 and T2.
• Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
