Operation
After you have made all connections, the wireless speaker system is now ready for operation.
• Switch on the connected audio device and start playback, if necessary.
• The transmitter recognizes there is an audio signal available and switches on automatically.
The LED display POWER lights up.
• Switch on both speakers, by turning the VOLUME dial on the side of the housing in the ON
direction. The LED displays on the speakers light up.
• Press the AUTO SCAN button on both speakers, to detect the signal of the transmitter. During
the search, the LED displays are red; as soon as the wireless signal is detected and tuned in,
they turn green.
• Now, set the desired volume with the VOLUME dial.
• With the NORMAL - BOOST BASS switch, you can activate a bass booster that amplifies the
low frequencies.
NORMAL
=
Sound is unchanged
BOOST BASS
=
Low frequencies are amplified
• After use, switch the speakers off again by turning the VOLUME dials in the OFF direction until
they click.
• The transmitter does not need to be switched off. It turns itself off automatically after a short
time, when no audio signal is available. As soon as it recognizes a signal again, it switches on
again automatically.
If there is any interference from other radio-supported devices during operation, try
another channel setting (move the CHANNEL switch to another position).
Afterwards, the AUTO SCAN button on the speakers must be pressed again.

Troubleshooting

By purchasing this wireless speaker system, you have acquired a product that has been
designed to the state of the art and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Which is why we would like to describe here how to solve any problems:
Always follow the safety instructions!
Problem
The LED display on the transmitter
or speakers won't light
No sound
The sound is noisy or disrupted
Handling
• Never switch the power supply for the devices on immediately after they have been moved
from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that forms might destroy your wireless
speaker system.
Allow the devices to reach room temperature before plugging them in. Wait until the conden-
sation has evaporated.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power supplies from the mains socket by pulling on the cable, always use
the grips on the plug.
• Always disconnect the power supplies from the mains socket, if the device is not going to be
used for la while.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power supplies from the mains socket during thun-
derstorms.
• To ensure adequate ventilation, never cover the system and the power supply units. In addi-
tion, the air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or
curtains.
Solution
• Is the corresponding power cord correctly
plugged in?
• Is the mains socket for the power cord supplied with
current?
• Are the speakers switched on?
• Have the batteries in the speakers run out of power?
• Is there an audio signal available to the transmitter?
• Is the audio source switched on?
• Is the playback function on the audio source device
activated and the output cable correctly inserted?
• Is the audio source device connected correctly?
• Is the distance between the transmitter and speak-
ers too long?
• Has the AUTO SCAN search been performed by the
speakers?
• Is the volume on the speakers set to the minimum?
• Has the range of the system been exceeded?
• Is there a metal barrier between the transmitter and
the speakers (e.g. a reinforced concrete wall)?
• Is there a strong source of interference, such as an
electric motor, radio device, etc., nearby?
• Is the distance between the transmitter and receiver
too small? This can overload the receivers in the
speakers. Increase the distance or change the posi-
tion of the devices relative to each other.
• Has the AUTO SCAN search been performed by the
speakers?
• Test the connection with another CHANNEL setting
on the transmitter and then AUTO SCAN detection
by the speakers.
Maintenance and Care
The wireless speaker system does not need any service and, except for occasional cleaning with
a soft, dry cloth, it does not require any maintenance.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface
of the housing.
Disposal
Please dispose of the system, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
Disposal of flat batteries/rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batter-
ies/rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these sym-
bols to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols
for the relevant heavy metals are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead. You can return used batteries/
rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point of your local
authority, to our stores or to any other store where batteries/rechargeable
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environ-
ment.

Licensing note
No modifications to the design of the system are permitted, i.e. the aerials integrated in the
devices must be used. Nor may measures be taken to increase the transmission output be
implemented.
The system will otherwise lose its licence and general permission for use. In addition, technical
modifications may lead to the destruction of the electronic components.
Equalisation settings inside the devices may on no account be modified. The optimal equalisa-
tion has already been carried out by the manufacturer.
