e) Training mode "GRADUAL UP/DOWN"
This function serves to improve your stamina during playing. The
speed of the metronome is increased during playing and afterwards
decreased again.
First, set the start speed by pressing the button "TEMPO/TAP" and
select the speed with the button "+" or "-". Then wait a few seconds
until the speed display disappears.
Then set the desired increase rate with the buttons "+" or "-":

If 8 beats are played correctly, increase by 5 BPM
Now start the metronome with the button "START/STOP"; the current speed is indicated on the display.
The maximum speed is defined by pressing the button "TEMPO/TAP" exactly at the time when the desired maximum
speed is indicated on the display (e.g. at "200"). Afterwards, the speed is decreased to the value selected at the start,
then increased to the currently defined maximum value etc.
f) Training mode "COUNT"
Here you can either count the number of hits on the pad within a
defined time (15, 30, 60 seconds) or the pad is hit 200, 500 or 1000
times.
Select the desired function with the buttons "+" and "-" (display
"0:15", "0:30" and "1:00" for 15, 30 and 60 seconds or "200", "500"
and "1000" for the number of hits on the pad).
Then start the training with the button "START/STOP".
When setting a fixed time (15, 30, 60 seconds), the display segments/
lines indicate the remaining time. When the time has expired, the
number of hits are indicated on the display.
When setting the number of hits on the pad (200, 500, 1000), the
display segments/lines indicate the still missing hits.
