a) Connecting the mains adapter

A matching power unit is enclosed in the delivery.
First switch off the drum training pad (put the slider on the side to "OFF"). Then connect the round low voltage plug
of the power pack with the corresponding socket on the drum training pad.
Insert the power pack into a (230V~/50Hz) mains socket.
Turn the volume control all the way to the left counter-clockwise and turn the drum training pad on.
b) Inserting batteries, replacing batteries
Insert four batteries type AA/Mignon into the battery compartment on the bottom of the drum training pad. Please
observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see imprint on the battery compartment.
When operating the device with a power pack, the batteries are deactivated.
Remove the batteries from the drum training pad if you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
Old batteries may leak and damage the device!
You need to change the batteries if the contrast of the display dwindles, if the battery exchange icon appears on the
display ("
") or if there is no display at all when turning the device on.
c) Connecting headphones
You can connect a set of headphones on the rear to the socket "PHONES".
Please note that the loudspeaker in the drum training pad only serves to play the sound of the
metronome. The sound of the drum training pad is only output via the headphone socket "PHONES".
When connecting headphones, the loudspeaker for the metronome is turned off and then the
metronome sound is output via the headphones as well.

d) Connecting the foot pedals

The two supplied foot pedals can be connected to the connections "KICK" and "HI-HAT CONTROL".
The connection "HI-HAT" (stereo jack socket) serves to connect optional percussion instruments.
e) On/off switch
The on/off switch is located next to the low-voltage socket on the side. In the position "OFF", the device is turned off,
in the position "ON" the device is turned on.
