B) OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Adjustment possibilities
The free-sliding shoulder belts of the harness SKYLINE RIDE can be adjusted
with the shoulder belt latches (on the seat board) optimally to the size of the pilot
and to its desired seating position. In addition adjustment possibilities exist at the
chest belt, the lateral chest belt as well as at the leg loops.
2.Individual setting
The basic adjustment of the harness is accomplished at the simulator. You have
to ensure that the setting with packed back bag and packed rescue system takes
place. You have to adjust the shoulder belt trimmers, the lateral chest belt and the
leg loops. Criteria are the respective body size, the preferential seating position
and the individual flight habits of the pilot, and/or also the different paraglider
types and also meteorological conditions.
Note: The more stretched the pilot lying in the harness, the more sluggish is he
moving regarding to the canopy. In extreme cases this can strengthen the danger
of pivoting the lines. Also a too tight setting of the chest belt can have this effect
(see "adjusting the chest belt").
Adjusting the shoulder belt trimmer:
The setting of the shoulder belts is to made sitting in the harness at the simulator
by the adjusting the trimmers, which are over the seatboard.
