The appliance shall be installed in a room with sufficient fresh air supply to support combustion.
Regular fresh air supply should be provided through a separate opening near the fireplace,
protected with a non-clogging grid (See Fig. 1 and Fig. 2). This is particularly important if an
exhauster (hood) or similar air-consuming unit is installed in the same room.
For connection to the chimney, the use of a common (standard) flue pipe Ø180 mm is
recommended. Installation of a flue pipe furnished with damper is desirable. In such a case, a
tube for the damper adjustment lever shall be provided at one side of the masonry wall. Make
sure that the connections of the flue pipe with the flue outlet and with the chimney outlet are firm
and tight. The flue pipe shall not extend beyond the chimney lining i.e. shall not protrude into the
cross section of the chimney.
