The Zip HydroTap allows the user to adjust the fi lter life and to edit
the fi lter usage. (See fi lter details on page 33).
II. Filter Reset
After replacing the fi lter, the counters should be reset.
III. Boiling Calibration
Caution: In general, boiling water units may vent steam from the tap
spout. Take care to avoid personal injury whenever this occurs.
The Zip HydroTap is equipped with a self-calibrating program. On
start up, the controls take the system through a calibration process.
Once this mode is completed the system reverts back to normal
operation. If you would like to calibrate the system anytime after
installed, please follow the steps below.
1. Press the [MENU] button for
main menu.
2. Press the [Install] button.
3. Press the [Filter Reset] button.
4. In the next screen, select
the fi lter you want to reset.
Subsequently follow the fi lter
fl ush steps to start fi lter fl ush
or press [HOME] to cancel the
fi lter reset program. To set the
fi lter life or edit fi lter usage,
refer to section F- Filter.
1. Press the [MENU] button for
main menu.
2. Press the [Install] button.
3. Press the [Boiling Calibration]
button.
4. In the next screen, press
[Calibrate] if you want to start
calibration.
