C Install
Once your Zip HydroTap G4 unit has been installed the fi rst time, it
will start automatically to confi gure the system settings. For a manu-
al confi guration you can fi nd the settings in the [Install] menu.
I. Filter Flush
Have a bucket or similar container at the ready to hold a quantity of
water that will be ejected while the fi lter fl ush mode is in operation.
Open the fi lter access door on the front of the HydroTap and the
fi lter cartridge will be exposed. Located to the rear RHS of the
cartridge is a fl ush line, approx 600 mm long and the fl ush line stop
cock. Hold the free end of the fl ush line into the bucket or container.
4. Press [START] button to start fi lter fl ush. Once the fi lter fl ush is
fi nished, turn the stop cock OFF fi rst (to ensure the cock is prop-
erly closed) then press [STOP] to end fi lter fl ush mode.
5. Press [ ] button for the previous menu or press [HOME] but-
ton to return to the home screen.
6. After initial installation, turning OFF the fi lter fl ush mode puts
the HydroTap into calibration mode. With subsequent fi lter
changes, the system reverts to the main menu.

Note: Run at least 10 ltrs of water through to fl ush the fi lter of any
excess black carbon particles (this is normal).

1. Press the [MENU] button for
main menu.
2. Press the [Install] button. Turn
the stop cock ON.
3. Press the [Filter Flush] button.
