Cleaning the liquid containers
1.
Pull the detergent drawer out until it stops.
2.
Remove the liquid container (B) from the detergent
drawer (C).
3.
Pull the siphon (A) out of the liquid container.
4.
Clean the liquid container and siphon under running water.
5.
Remove any dirt, as e.g. detergent residue with a suitable
cleaning tool, e.g. nylon brush.
6.
Replace the siphon in the liquid container. If required,
replace it in the detergent drawer.
Emergency emptying
Emergency emptying is necessary if:
The error message «CHECK DRAIN AND START»
appears.
The pump is blocked by a foreign body (e.g. buttons,
paper clip, fluff) and the water cannot be pumped out.
Up to 20 litres can flow from a blocked pump.
Have a bucket ready.
Risk of scalding! Allow hot detergent solution to cool.

Emptying procedure
1.
Switch off the mains power supply
2.
Open the maintenance flap by pressing on the recess.
3.
Take out the drainage hose, pull out the plug, let the
water run into a vessel. If necessary, repeat the procedure
several times.
4.
Unscrew the pump cover.
5.
Remove foreign bodies and deposits of fluff. Clean the
pump interior. It must be possible to rotate the pump im-
pellers.
6.
Screw on the pump cover.
7.
Close the drainage hose.
8.
Close the maintenance flap.
9.
Switch the mains power back on.
10.
Select a washing programme and as soon as the water
inlet stops, select programme end with the Quick Wash
button.
This procedure prevents detergent from flowing unused
into the drainage system at the next wash.
