Turbo function
Maximum speed may be obtained by
pressing down the turbo button, regardless
of the speed level selected.
With the rod attachment fi tted, this function is
activated by pressing the turbo button.
Hand mixer operation
Switch settings for hand mixer operation
∙ When mixing light and liquid mixtures or
when stirring in any ingredients, settings 1
and 2 should be used.
∙ For stirring and kneading, it is best to use
settings 3, 4 or 5.
Selecting the attachments
Beaters
Suitable for light and liquid mixtures such as
crèmes, mixing dough, mashed potatoes,
egg white or cream etc.
Dough hooks
For heavy, kneading-type dough, the dough
hooks must be used. The hook with the

∙ Any bowl or round container is suitable,
provided it is scratch-proof and the

∙ Use your thumb to switch on the unit.
∙ When you have fi nished mixing or if you
wish to interrupt the operation, switch off
fi rst before lifting the attachments out of
the mixture.
Ejecting the attachments
The beaters or dough hooks are
automatically detached when pressing the
eject button.
Rod attachment operation
∙ Always use a suitable container for
operation. A tall container with a fl at base
is best.
∙ Open the cover for the rod mounting and
insert the rod. Turn the rod anti-clockwise
to lock.
∙ Push the rod down into the ingredients in
the bowl before it is activated.
∙ Set the multistage switch to the
position and press the turbo button.
∙ Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.
∙ After switching off, wait until the motor
has come to a complete standstill before
lifting the rod out of the mixture.
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
