The timer works independently of the
appliance. The microwave does not have to
be switched on. This is very useful when, for
example, you want to boil an egg on the hob.
For example:
You want to set the timer to 15 minutes.
Setting the timer

set the timer to 15 minutes.

The timer is switched on. The time in the
display counts down. At the end of the time

set, an audio signal can be heard and the
word "End" can be seen in the display.

Childproof lock

You can "lock" your microwave, so that it is no
longer possible to start it.
Activating the childproof lock
1. Press .
2. Press and keep it depressed until l
appears in the left of the display and an
audio signal is heard.
3. l remains visible in the display. The time
is no longer shown.
All of the controls have been made
inoperative.
Turning the childproof lock off
1. Press and keep it depressed until l
disappears from the display and an audio
signal is heard.
The microwave can be used normally again.
