Press the 1 - 10, SYMBOL and CHARACTER buttons to enter the
characters.


The CHARACTER button allows switching between capital and small letters.


You can enter the following symbols by pressing the SYMBOL button.

When the name has been completely entered, press the ENTER
button.

Capital
1 ABC 2 DEF 3 GHI 4 JKL 5 MNO 6 PQRS 7 TUV 8 WXYZ 9 0

: indicates a space.
To erase disc and track names:
1 Perform steps 1- 2 in the "Creating disc and track names" section on page 39.
2 Press the TIMER/DELETE button for 3 seconds or more.


"NAME CLEAR?" will appear.
3 Press the ENTER button to finish.
To delete a character:
1 Perform steps 1- 3 in the "Creating disc and track names" section on page 39.
2 Press the REC LEVEL/CURSOR
character to be deleted.
3 Press the TIMER/DELETE button.
4 Press the ENTER button to finish.
To add a character:
1 Perform steps 1- 3 in the "Creating disc and track names" section on page 39.
2 Press the REC LEVEL/CURSOR
character before which you want to add a new character.
3 Select a character to enter, press the ENTER button.
