OPERATION

Baby Unit
1. Set the power ON-OFF switch 4 to ON position to turn on the unit. The
power on indicator 9 will light up steady red.
2. Place the unit about 1 m from the crib with the microphone 5 facing
towards the baby.
3. Adjust the microphone sensitivity using the sensitivity Up Down buttons 2
and 3 such that the unit will be set to transmit whenever the microphone 5
picks up a sound at your desirable loudness level. The transmit indicator 8
will blink every time these buttons are pressed, more number of blinks
mean the microphone is more sensitive to sound (maximum is 4 blinks and
minimum is 1 blink).
Press to increase and to reduce microphone sensitivity.
4. Once the unit is in transmit mode, the transmit indicator 8 will light up
red. The unit will return to standby mode a few seconds after the
microphone 5 stops
picking up any sound and the transmit indicator 8 will go off.
5. Since this baby monitor is equipped with out of range alert function, the
baby unit will transmit a signal to the parent unit at regular intervals even
when the microphone 5 does not pick up any sound.
6. The night light 1 can be set permanently ON by moving the power ON-
OFF switch 4 to position.
7. The condition of the battery is shown by the power on/battery low
indicator 9.
When the battery runs down, the battery low indicator 9 will start flashing.
Replace with new battery or use the supplied switching power supply.
8. The temperature sensor 11 senses the temperature of baby's room and
send a signal to the parent unit. For correct reading, do not block the
ventilation of this sensor.
