8. The temperature of baby's room is shown on the Temperature indicator
20. It can show a reading from -9° C und +50° C. For temperature falls
beyond this range, the indicator will show - -.
N.B.
If the parent unit is switched on first, the temperature indicator 20 will
immediately show the baby's room temperature once the baby unit is
switched on. On the contrary, if baby unit is switched on first, it will take a
while before the temperature can be displayed on parent unit.

TALK BACK FUNCTION

For units incorporated with this function, the parent can talk back as a
means of comforting the baby.
1. Press and hold the PTT button 23, then speak towards the microphone
21. The Tx indicator 17 will light up.
2. The parent's voice can be heard from speaker 6 and the Rx indicator 7
lights up correspondingly.
3. Press and hold the volume button 10 while using the buttons
to adjust the volume of speaker 6. Each press of the button 2 or 3 will
cause the Rx indicator 7 to flash one to four times and corresponding
number of beeps will be heard. More beeps mean louder voice.
4. Release the PTT button 23 after finish speaking. Note that when PTT
button 23 is pressed, the parents cannot hear the sound from baby.
