Using mV controller 7071/2 as
a measuring instrument
Use the BNC connector to connect the redox electrode
to the housing of the controller 7071/2 (1).
Place a 9V battery in the battery compartment (rear
side) (2).
Carefully remove the front cap from the mV
electrode. Warning ! Prone to breaking ! Please
refer to Fig. (3).
Immerse the mV electrode half way in the water (4)
or use the electrode holder enclosed to attach to the
side of the tank. Make sure to keep to a distance
of 10 to 30 cm (3.9 to 11.8 in.) to the pump outlet,
fitting the electrode in a dark position, if possible.
Switch on the measuring instrument by pressing
the „ON" button. After about 2 minutes, the
„AutoPowerOffFunction"
automatically in order to spare the battery.
In order to prevent damage to the electrode, it shall
be kept moist. For this reason, the cap supplied
along with the unit should be filled with a bit of water
(distilled water) and should be replaced.

Contrôleur mV 7071/2 en mesure seule
Raccordez l'électrode mV au contrôleur 7071/2 par
la prise BNC (1).
Insérez la batterie 9V dans le logement en partie
arrière (2).
Retirez avec précaution le capuchon de protection au
bout de la sonde mV. Attention sonde fragile ! (3)
Immergez l'électrode dans l'eau jusqu'à moitié ou
fixez l'électrode sur son support (4). Elle doit être
protégée de la lumière et distante de toute sortie de
pompe à au moins 10 à 30 cm.
Enclenchez l'appareil par une impulsion sur la touche
„ ON ". Après 2 min, son arrêt est automatique afin
d'économiser la batterie (fonction Auto Power Off.)
Afin d'éviter sa destruction, l'électrode doit toujours
rester humide. Pour cela et après une mesure,

replacez le capuchon de protection contenant un
peu d'eau distillée.
Si la batterie est usagée ou trop faible, l'indication
„ Low batt " apparaît sur l'afficheur.
