Searching for a contact

There are two ways to search for a
contact:
1 Touch from the home screen
and then touch Phonebook or
touch from the home screen.
2 You see a list of contacts. Typing
the first letter of a contact's name
in the Name field will jump the
menu to that alphabetical area
of the list.
TIP! The alphabetical keypad
is displayed once you tap the
Name fi eld.

Adding a new contact

1 Touch Phonebook and touch New.
2 Choose whether to save the
contact to your Handset or SIM.
3 Enter your first and last name.
4 You can enter up to 5 different
numbers per contact. Each entry
is preset for Mobile, Home, Office,
Pager, and Fax.
5 Add an email address.
6 Assign the contact to one or more
groups. You can assign up to
three groups per contact. Choose
between No group, Family,
Colleagues, School and VIP.
7 You can also add a Ringtone,
Vibration, Homepage, Home
address, Company name, Job
title, Company address, Birthday,
and
Anniversary
8 Touch to save the contact.

Creating a group

1 Touch Phonebook. Touch the
down arrow beside Contacts and
then select Groups.
2 Touch New group or touch
and select New group.
3 Enter a name for your new group
in Group name field. You can also
assign a ringtone to the group.
4 Touch .
NOTE: If you delete a group, the
contacts assigned to that group
will not be lost. They will remain in
your Phonebook.
