Monitoring functions

The Vicon System monitors / manages the electrical system
parts such as e.g.
Batteries
Heating
Driver's door
Wiring (broken wire, short circuit)
Over-current of consumers
The switching levels and times depend on the
programming of the system.

Battery monitor / emergency-on mode

The battery monitor prevents the consumer battery from deep
discharging.
Battery voltage < 11,3 V
(is defined by the vehicle manufacturer, usually 11.3 V)
Warning and / or warning signal
Consumers are switched off depending on the
programming
Corrective
Charge battery
Battery voltage < 10,8 V
All consumers are switched off
Warning message emergency-on mode possible
Corrective
Charge battery, if necessary replace old battery.
If the battery voltage exceeds 12.5 V again, the consum-
ers are switched on again (depending on the program-
ming, only those with high priority or all consumers that were
active before the shut-down).
Emergency-on mode
If the shut-down feature has been triggered due to low cur-
rent (battery voltage < 10.8 V, delayed by e.g. 3 minutes),
the emergency-on mode can be activated for short-term
power supply to the consumers. The emergency-on mode is
switched on via the display or via a key depending on the fit-
tings in the vehicle.
In the emergency-on mode
the system statuses are displayed
the monitoring functions are activated
the consumers are switched on again (depending on the
programming, only those with high priority or all consumers
that were active before the shut-down).
The emergency-on mode can also be activated several
times in succession as long as the battery voltage
is > 10 V.
