Commissioning

The Vicon 2 Bus System in your vehicle is commissioned by
following the steps below:
Switch on the vehicle's power supply via the master switch
(see documents provided by the vehicle manufacturer)
The serial number of the Power Module – to which the
Touch Panel is connected – is shown.
After the system is started, a screen-saver is shown.

This button activates the screen-saver.

Depending on the configuration, the screen-saver shows:
Time (analog / digital)

Outside temperature

Batteries / filing levels
This button activates the menu which displays the
voltage of the starter and consumer battery and the
filling level of a fresh water and / or grey water and /
or waste water tank.

– Main supply mode (with connection to the 230 V
mains supply)
– Charging of the consumer battery
– Parallel switching of the batteries
– The starter battery is also charged during mains
supply mode
– The consumer battery is also charged during
driving mode
Filling level of the fresh water, grey water, waste
water tank
If one of the tolerance values (depending on the system pro-
gramming) for the filling level is exceeded or undercut, the
current filling level flashes.
A maximum of 3 tanks can be monitored (not fuel tanks).

Status of the consumer battery
This menu shows information about the consumer battery.

1 = Amperemeter
"+" Battery is being charged
"–" Current is being drawn from the battery (drain)
2 = Digital display
"+" Battery is being charged
"–" Current is being drawn from the battery (drain)
Residual battery time display
3 = The stated residual battery time is calculated by the
device based on the current consumption (= drain).
Battery voltage display
4 = Current voltage of the battery
