PIN
4-digit number combination (see
documents provided by the vehicle
manufacturer)
PIN code counter
Counts the number of times the PIN has
been entered wrongly. If the PIN is en-
tered wrongly 3 times, it can be reset by
entering the Super PIN.
Super PIN
8-digit number combination (see
documents provided by the vehicle
manufacturer)
Stand-by
System status during which the proces-
sor and display switch themselves off. In
stand-by, no temperatures, filling levels,
voltages or currents are measured.
Starter battery
Battery for starting the vehicle
Touch Panel
Touch-sensitive display and control unit
Consumer battery
Battery for supplying consumers in the
vehicle (also called the additional battery
or body battery).

Application purpose

The device is designed to be installed in caravans and
motorcaravans.

Display and operation

A touch-sensitive color display with an illuminated background
is used to operate the system and show the statuses.
Only operate the Touch Display with your fingers.
Pointed or sharp objects can damage the surface of
the Touch Display.
Buttons are touch-sensitive images on the Touch Display.
Simultaneous touching of several buttons can trigger
unintentional actions. Only touch one button on the
Touch Display at a time.
Operating the system is no different from pressing mechani-
cal keys. The buttons are operated by pressing them with
your finger.
Depending on the system configuration, the following happens
if the display is not touched for several minutes:
the display is darkened to save energy (sleep mode)
a screen-saver is shown.

If the display is touched whilst it is dark during "Sleep"
mode, the display is switched to "Active" mode again –
without a function being exercised. The brightness in Active /
Sleep mode can be modified under "Settings".

Menu navigation

A menu is opened in the toolbar of the display by touching the
corresponding menu. It is possible to swap between menus.

By selecting a button, a submenu is selected. This submenu
allows values to be entered or shown or for a function to be
carried out.
The number of menus and sub-menus depends on the
vehicle configuration.

General functions

Number in a frame – touch to change, then set the
value by pressing "+" or "–"
Increase number by "1"
Decrease number by "1"
Close dialogue
Return to previous menu

Button

A pressed button shines brightly
A green button shows the function is activated
A red flashing button signals an error

Warning / error messages

A warning / error message comprises a signal word and a
message text that vary depending on the system program-
ming. In the case of an error message, a help text can also
be called up.
Depending on the programming, a warning signal may
sound.

For example the following message texts are shown:
Short-circuit on the consumer
Broken wire on the consumer
Excess current to the consumer
The following applies:
AA
is the number of the "Power Module" (01,02,...)
BB minus 12 is the number of the associated output
A warning / error message stays in the display until it is ac-
knowledged by the user. In the case of warning messages, the
system returns to the previous menu.
Additional system functions in the case of errors
In the case of a consumer with a button (e.g. pump), the
"consumer menu" in which the error occurs is automatically
shown. The faulty consumer (button flashes red) is shut
down by the system.
Information is issued for consumers that are not activated
via a button, external switch or keys (z. B. 12 V socket). The
corresponding load output of the system must be released
manually by means of an "SI reset" (defined button in the
consumer menu or an external switch).
