Safety instructions

Only operate the device when it is fully functional.

Arrange for malfunctions to be rectified immediately. Only
rectify malfunctions yourself if the remedy is described in
the troubleshooting section of this manual.

Do not repair or modify the device!

Only the manufacturer or its service team may repair a
faulty device.

Important information

If the power supply to the system is interrupted for longer than
20 minutes, the date and the time need to be entered again.
The PIN is retained, the PIN code counter is reset to "0".
If the Truma Combi heating system is connected to the
Vicon 2 Bus System, it can no longer be operated via a
ZUCB time switch.

General

The Vicon 2 Bus System is used to control, monitor and
manage components installed in the vehicle such as e.g. the
heating and lighting system. Settings are made using the
Touch Display; no further operating panel is required.
The Vicon 2 Bus System and its functional scope is
defined by the programming undertaken by the vehicle
manufacturer.
The functions include e.g.
-
Controlling and switching consumers (e.g. heating system)
-
Selection of the room temperature and the operating mode
depending on the heating device that is used
-
Displaying the voltages of the starter and consumer battery
-
Displaying the filling levels of the fresh water and waste
water tanks
-
Monitoring the piping system
-
Monitoring the filling levels of the fresh water and waste
water tanks
-
Monitoring the flow of current from and to the consumer
battery
-
Protection of the systems by means of electronic fuses
-
Issuing warning and error messages in the event of mal-
functions in the vehicle
