Basic operations

Play an AV component or TV connected to this unit with an
HDMI cable or other cable.
1. Switch the input on the TV to that assigned to the unit.
2. Press the input selector (a) on the remote controller with
the same name as the jack to which you connected the
player to switch the input. Note that when the CEC link
function works, the input switches automatically when
you have connected a CEC compliant TV and player to
this unit using HDMI connection.
– BD/DVD - BD/DVD jack
– GAME - GAME jack
– CBL/SAT - CBL/SAT jack
– STRMBOX - STRM BOX jack
– TV - ( ＊ )
– DIGITAL IN - DIGITAL IN OPTICAL jack
– ANALOG IN - ANALOG IN jack
( ＊ ) Selectable when a TV compatible with ARC is
connected using an HDMI cable. If you have connected a
TV with only an HDMI cable, you need to go to the
System Setup menu ( P14) and set "Hardware" -
"HDMI" - "Audio Return Channel" (
you have connected a TV with a digital optical cable, set
the input on this unit to "DIGITAL IN", and if connected
with an analog audio cable, set to "ANALOG IN". Note
that if you have connected with either a digital optical
cable or an analog audio cable, if "Audio Return
Channel" ( P18) is set to "Off" you can listen to the
audio from the TV through the "TV" input.
3. Start play on the player.
4. Use VOL+/– (b) to adjust the volume.
