Problem
The light ring around
the on/off button 3
continues to flash

Solution
1. When the light ring around the on/off button 3 flashes rapidly, there is
not enough water in the water reservoir to brew coffee. To brew coffee, the
water in the water reservoir must be above the MIN level.
2. You may have pressed the 1-cup button q/f to brew a cappuccino while
the milk container unit was not placed in the machine or was not placed
correctly. Fill the milk container with milk and place the milk container unit in
the machine correctly if you want to brew a cappuccino.
3. The water reservoir is not placed properly. Remove the water reservoir
and put it back onto the machine in the correct position.
4. Perhaps the lid is not locked. Check if the lid lever is locked properly.
5. Perhaps you use the SENSEO
below 10°C. The SENSEO
the SENSEO machine functions normally when you use it in a room with a

temperature above 10°C.
1. When the machine froths milk, it is perfectly normal that it produces louder
sounds.
2. Perhaps the cover of the milk container lid is not closed properly. Always
close the cover properly ('click') before you slide the milk container unit back
into the machine.
To get the best frothed milk, we advise you to use semi-skimmed cow's milk.
Other types of milk (e.g rice milk or soy milk) do not produce high-quality
frothed milk.
It is not possible to make frothed milk only. The machine has been designed
to produce cappuccino with fresh frothed milk.
