A Inserting and changing the battery
So that the current clamp adapter functions perfectly,
it must be fitted with a 9 V battery (type 6F22 or equi-
valent). When the LO BAT indicator lights up, the bat-
tery must be changed. Proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the measuring instrument from the
circuit being measured, remove all test leads
- Switch the unit off (rotary switch to "OFF") and
- with a suitable screwdriver, remove the fixing scr-
ews from the lower case shell.
- Now carefully lever off the lower case shell,
- remove the used battery from the connecting clip
and
- replace the battery with a new one of the same
type.
- Observe correct polarity (+ and -)
- After replacing the battery place it in the case of
the measuring instrument and carefully close this
once more
- When closing, take care that the connecting clip
(red and black) leads do not become trapped.
Attention!
Never operate the measuring instru-
ment in an opened condition! Danger to
life!
Do not leave used batteries in the mea-
suring instrument, because even leak-
proof batteries can corrode and thereby
release chemicals, which are both da-
maging to health and can destroy the
battery compartment.
Used batteries are to be considered as
special waste and must therefore be

A Généralités
A1 Câbles de mesure
Pour toutes les mesures de courant, les câbles de
mesure montés à demeure à l'adaptateur transfo-pin-
ce devront être utilisés.
A2 AUTO ZERO
A l'aide de la touche ZERO vous effectuez avant la
mesure une compensation à zéro (uniquement) lors de
la mesure du courant continu. A cet effet actionnez la
touche "ZERO". L'affichage de l'appareil de mesure
connecté devrait alors indiquer "00.0".
Attention !
Pendant ce calibrage (compensation à
zéro) aucun conducteur ne devra se
trouver dans la transfo-pince. La pince
ne devra pas se trouver à proximité
d'un champ magnétique perturbant lors
de la compensation (par ex. haut-par-
leurs, machines électriques, etc.). Les
surfaces de contact des bras de la pin-
ce devront être propres et fermées.
Si la compensation à zéro ne peut pas être exécutée
correctement, vous procéderez de la manière suivante :
Nach mehreren durchgeführten Gleichstrommessun-
gen kann in der Zange ein Restmagnetismus vorhan-
den sein. Celui-ci pourra être éliminé, en modifiant le
sens du courant à mesurer en connectant la transfo-
pince en sens inverse.
Ouvrez et fermez la pince plusieurs fois à la suite (cli-
queter). Ensuite, essayez à nouveau d'effectuer la
compensation à zéro.
