Intended use of the Current
Clamp Adapter VC-601
Measuring and converting (Hall-effect sensor) DC and
AC currents up to 1000 ADC max. or AAC rms
Output of the converted current in the form of a volta-
ge of from 1 mV to 1000 mV to a multimeter via the
captive test leads.
The instrument may not be operated when opened,
with battery compartment open, or with battery com-
partment missing.
Measurement in damp areas, outdoors, or in unfavou-
rable environmental conditions, is not permitted. Unfa-
vourable ambient conditions include:
- wetness or excessive humidity,
- dust and combustible gases, fumes or solvents,
- strong vibrations,
- strong magnetic fields, as in the vicinity of machi-
nes or loudspeakers,
- thunderstorms or storm conditions such as
strong electrostatic fields, etc.
Any use other than as described above can lead to
damage to the product, and can also produce hazards
such as, for example, short-circuit, fire, electric shock,
etc. No part of the product may be changed or modi-
fied! The safety instructions are to be followed without
fail!

tors, conductor systems, etc.)
