Independent of the described conditions of use, the
following signs indicate that the device should un-
dergo maintenance:
•
The noise level coming from the fan is higher
than normal.
•
heavily-polluted air filters
•
polluted electrode (typical sign: the hissing
sound produced during the ozone generation
is only barely audible)
Cleaning
Within the framework of the maintenance work to be
carried out on a regular basis, you should not only
check the proper condition of the device and its as-
semblies but also carry out a comprehensive cleaning
of the device and its components.
Proceed as follows:
Cleaning the air filter
•
Remove the filter boxes on the back of the
device.
•
Remove the air filter.
Please use a soap solution for cleaning the air filter.
After cleaning, do not insert the filter before it is com-
pletely dry.
Additionally, the air filter should be exchanged after
approx. 2 - 3 uses to prevent pollution of the device.
Cleaning the interior
•
Remove the screws on the housing.
•
Carefully remove the back side.
•
Clean the device. Only use compressed air or
a moist cloth for cleaning.

the safety switch (1) is closed (fig. page 9).
Cleaning the electrode
The electrode can be cleaned in its built-in state.
Check the electrode for cracks or fissures before
cleaning it. Damaged components may not be used!
Clean the assembly using a dry (lint-free) or moist
cloth. Make sure that no fibres (bits of fluff) remain on
the electrode after cleaning.
Make sure not to use the device until the electrodes
have completely dried.
•
Remove any remaining dust or other built-up
