• The POWER switch near the power connector is used to switch the loudspeaker on
and off. In the position "O" or "OFF" the power is off; when switched to "I" or "ON"
it is turned on.
• Once you turn on the unit, the display and the status indicator of the battery lights
up.
• While the loudspeaker is switched on, the battery is loaded automatically. You can
recognize this when the green LED "CHARGE", which is located above the word
"POWER" lights up.
• When you put the loudspeaker in operation for the first time, allow the batteries to
fully charge. This takes approx. 12 hours.
The mobile PA system can also be operated while charging.
The status of the charging shows on the 4 LEDs under the word "BATTERY
LEVEL". If only the red LED of the status display illuminates, the battery
should be recharged as soon as possible.
The battery has a low self-discharge, i.e. it discharges slowly even when
the device is not in operation. For this reason, when not in use, you should
charge the battery completely about once a month.
Connection and operation of audio sources
• Before attaching or connecting a device to the loudspeaker you should turn all con-
trols ("MIC VOLUME", "AUX VOLUME", "MASTER VOLUME") all the way back to
the far left, and the volume of the MP3 player should be set to zero with the "VOL"
button.
• With the "MASTER VOLUME" controller, you adjust the entire volume of the loud-
speaker.
With the "MIC VOLUME" controller, you adjust the volume of the input "MIC 1" and
"MIC 2".
With the "AUX VOLUME" controller you adjust the volume of the input "AUX INPUT"
and of a device connected via Bluetooth
With the buttons "VOL+" and "VOL-" you adjust the volume of the MP3 player during
when playing from an SD card and a USB flash drive.
• Before connecting an external device, first turn off the loudspeaker. USB sticks,
memory cards and Bluetooth
devices can be connected while the loudspeaker is
®
turned on.
At the "MIC 1" and "MIC 2" entrances you can connect the included microphone in
conjunction to the attached microphone cable. Alternatively, you can also connect
a similar commercially available microphone.
At the "AUX INPUT" entrance you can connect an external device, such as a CD
player.
• After the connection, turn the loudspeaker back on.
• To connect a Bluetooth
device to the loudspeaker, press the button for the
®
Bluetooth
connection for about 2 to 4 seconds. It is found under the "MASTER
®
VOLUME" controller. If the blue LED next to it starts to flash quickly, let it go again.
Now activate the Bluetooth
on your device and pair it with the device "HYBRID
®
DRIVER". If a key is requested, it is "0000".
• If you have a device connected externally or via Bluetooth
control, adjust this one to about 75% of the maximum volume. Make sure that the
signal output is not distorted.
• Start playback on the external device.
• If you prefer to play music from a USB stick or a memory card, connect the stick to
the USB port or insert the memory card into the card slot. The pins on the card must
be facing up.
With the "MODE" button you can switch between the USB port and memory card
slot. If you press the button longer, the MP3 player is switched off or on. Pressing
the "PLAY PAUSE" button starts or pauses playback. With the buttons "NEXT" and
"PREV" you can go forward of backward in a song.
Alternatively, you can use the included remote control. Here you have the option to
choose the track directly by entering the number. You can also use the "EQ" button
to switch through different equalizer settings.
• Start playback of the MP3 player.
• If you started the desired playback, set the "MASTER VOLUME" controller on a me-
dium setting in the first third of the control range.
• Now turn the controller to the desired input slowly to the right. If you use the MP3
player, press the "VOL +" button several times. Even now, you might need to adjust
the setting of the "MASTER VOLUME" controller.
Of course, it is possible to have different playbacks playing in parallel. You
can then adjust the volume with individual controllers together with the
"MASTER VOLUME" controller.
Before you remove a connected cable or turn off an externally connected
device, make sure to turn off the loudspeaker.

Remote control battery replacement
• If the remote control stops working, the battery must be replaced.
• To do this, pull the battery holder out of the bottom of the remote control. Pay atten-
tion to the illustration on the back of the remote.
• Replace the battery (CR2025). Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting
the new coin cell. The positive pole must face the back of the remote control.
• Now slide the battery holder into the remote control again until it clicks into place.
