SCAN: Scansione dei canali
SCAN esegue la scansione (ASCOLTO) di tutti i canali occupati.
Si utilizza per controllare le conversazioni su tutti i canali. In presenza di un segnale
su un canale (quindi di una conversazione), la scansione si interrompe. Nel caso
in cui sia presente un disturbo o una conversazione non desiderata è possibile far
avanzare la scansione premendo i tasti
Durante questa funzione è presente il riconoscimento automatico (CTCSS detector)
o [7] selezionate uno dei due livelli di sensibilità del VOX e premete
dei toni subaudio in ricezione, ovvero la radio si fermerà sui canali dove è presente un
segnale e il display mostrerà il tono subaudio utilizzato dal chiamante. Il tono CTCSS
decodificato non viene automaticamente impostato in trasmissione dalla radio è
necessario quindi, per poter comunicare, impostarlo manualmente.

Attivazione funzione SCAN
1. Premere il tasto SCAN [3]: sul display [1] i canali cominceranno a scorrere.

ALAN 777 può ricevere in due modalità:
a) "traffico aperto" in questo caso sentirete tutte le conversazioni trasmesse sul
canale selezionato.
b) "modalità di gruppo CTCSS" I toni CTCSS funzionano come una sorta di codice
di accesso e vi consentono di comunicare solo con quegli utenti che hanno il Vs.
stesso canale e codice. La radio rimarrà silenziata fino al ricevimento del corretto
tono CTCSS.

The only limitation to maximum possible range are environmental factors such as

CTCSS-sub-tone setting
ALAN 777 can receive in two modes:
a) open traffic: in this case you will hear any communication transmitted on the
selected channel.
b) group mode CTCSS: CTCSS tones are access keys that allow you to receive only
/ buttons [7].

SCAN: Suchlauf über die Kanäle
Im Suchlauf (SCAN) Mode kann man die Funkkanäle nach Signalen absuchen, also
besetzte Kanäle finden.
Dabei werden alle Kanäle nacheinander automatisch abgesucht. Auf belegten
/ [7] können Sie jetzt zwischen 2 Empfindlichkeitsstufen

Hinweis: beim Suchlauf kann das Gerät erkennen, ob eine gefundene Gegenstation
mit einem CTCSS Ton codiert sendet. Ist das der Fall, dann wird die Nummer des
Ton-Codes im Display angezeigt. Wenn Sie mit einer so beim Suchlauf gefundenen
Station in Kontakt treten wollen, dann müssen Sie natürlich die Ton-Code-Nummer
auch bei Ihrem Gerät für diesen Kanal übernehmen, sonst kann der andere Teilnehmer
dort Sie ja nicht hören (lesen Sie bitte mehr über CTCSS im nächsten Kapitel).
Suchlauf aktivieren
1. SCAN [3] Taste drücken. Im Display sehen Sie die Kanäle durchlaufen.
2. Bei Suchlaufstops auf nicht interessanten Sendungen kann man mit
weiterschalten.
Senden während des Suchlaufs
/ [7] auf of und bestätigen Sie wieder
Beim Drücken von PTT [8], sendet das Gerät entweder auf dem Kanal, wo der
Suchlauf gestartet wurde, oder, falls der Suchlauf auf einem belegten Kanal
angehalten hatte, mit den eingestellten Werten auf diesem Kanal.
Zum Abschalten des Suchlaufs erneut SCAN [3] drücken.
Einstellungen für die zusätzliche CTCSS Codierung
ALAN 777 kann in zwei Codierungs-Grundeinstellungen betrieben werden:
a) "offener Funkverkehr" in dieser Einstellung (Lieferzustand) kann jeder Benutzer
jeden anderen Teilnehmer auf dem gleichen Sprechkanal hören.

**Radio de cobertura (pmr446)
El máximo rango se obtiene durante su uso en espacios abiertos. Las reducciones
de la cobertura pueden ser debidas a diferentes factores medioambientales como
edificios, árboles y otro tipo de obstáculos. También se verá reducido el alcance
dentro de un vehículo o en construcciones metálicas.

Cuando se activa la función scanner, el detector de subtonos CTCSS también se
activa: la radio detecta automáticamente el subtono, el cual se mostrará en el display.
El subtono detectado en recepción no se ajusta automáticamente en transmisión y,
por lo tanto, para hablar, se debe ajustar mediante el menú (vea el párrafo de Ajuste
de Subtono)
Para activar el SCANNER
/ [7] y pulse la tecla
1. Pulse la tecla SCAN [3]; los canales son explorados y se muestra en el display

Transmisión durante la exploración
Pulse la tecla PTT [8] para transmitir en el canal donde empieza la exploración o
en un canal ocupado. Si detecta subtono, deberá ajustarlo manualmente para que

Ajuste de los subtonos CTCSS
El ALAN 777 puede recibir de dos maneras
En abierto: en este caso se escuchan todas las comunicaciones realizadas en el
canal seleccionado.
Con subtono: los tonos son como llaves que le permiten recibir mensajes solamente
de otros equipos que estén ajustados en el mismo canal y con el mismo subtono. La
radio no recibirá nada si el subtono no es el mismo en los dos equipos.

2. Seleccione un canal
3. Pulse dos veces la tecla MODE [4] hasta que en el display aparezca el canal con
el número de subtono parpadeando a su derecha (ajuste por defecto:"Of").

Procedimento per l'attivazione dei 38 toni CTCSS in RX e TX:

del tono CTCSS lampeggiante a destra ("of" condizione di default).
4. Selezionare il tono CTCSS desiderato premendo i tasti

Procedimento per la disattivazione del tono CTCSS
Se non si vuole operare con alcun tono CTCSS:

Per limitare il consumo delle batterie è possibile abilitare la bassa potenza
(selezionabile solo nei canali PMR).
Procedimento per l'attivazione della bassa potenza:

3. Selezionare la bassa potenza premendo i tasti

In questo modo ALAN 777 opererà in bassa potenza.
Beep tastiera
Nel caso si desideri escludere la suoneria dei tasti alla loro pressione è possibile farlo
operando nel seguente modo:

To extend the battery life, you can select the low power mode, which can be selected
only with the PMR446 channels.

Keypad beep
To deactivate the keypad beep at the pressure of any key, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your ALAN 777.
2. Press the MODE [4] button 5 times, until the display shows "bP on".
3. Push or [7] until "bP of" appears on the display.
4. Confirm by pushing the PTT [8] or simply wait for 5 seconds.
With this procedure, you won't hear any beep at the pressure of any button.
Bedienung des Funkgeräts
Ein- und Ausschalten
Halten Sie die MODE Taste [4] mindestens 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Mit einem
Mehrfachton (die Bestätigungstöne können abgeschaltet werden) schaltet sich das

b) "geschlossene Gruppe" Die Mitglieder einer Gruppe entscheiden sich für einen
gemeinsamen Code aus 38 möglichen CTCSS Code-Tönen. Jetzt empfangen
[7] oN bzw. of einstellen Sie nur noch Sendungen von Teilnehmern mit dem gleichen CTCSS Code: bei
allen anderen Signalen bleibt der Lautsprecher stumm.
Zum Einstellen der Codierung wählen Sie einen von 38 möglichen Codes:
1. Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät Funkkanal auswählen (bei Bedarf kann man auf jedem
Funkkanal eine andere Codierung benutzen!)
2. 2 mal die MODE [4] Taste drücken, bis neben der Kanalzahl of oder eine Nummer
01..38 blinkt (of ist die Werkseinstellung)
3. den gewünschten Code-Ton mit den Tasten
4. Zur Bestätigung wieder PTT [8] kurz drücken oder circa 5 Sekunden warten.
Codierung wieder aufheben
Wie oben beschrieben vorgehjen, jedoch als Code die of Stellung auswählen.
Wichtig: Alle Teilnehmer einer Gruppe müssen den gleichen Kanal und die gleiche
Codierung eingeschaltet haben, sonst ist keine Funkverbindung möglich! Mit
CTCSS Codierung können sich auf einem gemeinsam benutzten Kanal bis zu 38
/ [7] ggf. verschiedene Gruppen bilden. Innerhalb einer Gruppe hört man dann nur alle dort
beteiligten Stationen, nicht aber fremde Teilnehmer.
Sendeleistung umschalten
Wenn Sie im Nahbereich die vollen 500 mW Leistung auf den PMR Kanälen nicht
brauchen, können Sie viel Batteriestrom sparen, wenn Sie auf kleine Leistung
herunterschalten (auf LPD Kanälen ist immer niedrige Leistung eingestellt).
1. Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät 4 x MODE [4] drücken, es erscheint "Pr hi".
2. schalten Sie mit oder [7] die Leistung um.
3. Bestätigen Sie wieder mit einem kurzen Antippen von PTT [8] oder 5 sec
warten.
Herauf- und Herunterschalten ist nur auf den 8 PMR 446 Kanälen möglich (EU
Vorschrift).

Encender/Apagar la radio

Tono di chiamata
ALAN 777 ha la possibilità di inviare tre tipi di toni di chiamata. Per inviarla occorre
premere rapidamente due volte il tasto PTT [8].

I toni possono essere selezionati nel seguente modo:
1. Accendere l'apparato
2. Premere 7 volte il tasto MODE [4], finchè il display mostra "CA 1".
3. Premendo il tasto o [7] si possono udire le tre melodie preimpostate.
4. Confermare premendo PTT [8] oppure attendere 5 secondi.
In questo modo tutte le volte che viene inviato un tono di chiamata verrà utilizzata
quella determinata suoneria. Se si desidera inibire questa funzione impostare "of"
sul display.
[7]. Nota: se è attiva anche la funzione Vibralarm (vedi sotto) il tono chi chiamata non
verrà udito.
Vibralarm
ALAN 777 è dotato del dispositivo "Vibralarm", ovvero la possibilità di attivare il
vibratore interno al momento della ricezione del "TONO DI CHIAMATA".
Per attivare ciò occorre eseguire le seguenti istruzioni:
1. Accendere l'apparato
2. Premere 8 volte il tasto MODE [4], finchè il display mostra
3. Premendo i tasti o si può inibire o attivare la funzione desiderata.

4. Confermare premendo il tasto PTT [8] oppure attendere 5 secondi.
In questo modo tutte le volte che viene ricevuto il tono di chiamata, ALAN 777
vibrerà.
Dual Watch

press rapidly the PTT [8] key twice.
To select the call tones:
1. Turn on the transceiver
2. Push MODE [4] 7 times, until the display shows "CA 1".
3. Push or [7]: you will hear the 3 pre-set melodies.
4. Confirm by pushing the PTT [8] key or wait for 5 seconds.
Now, each time your ALAN 777 will send out a tone call, it will beep with the selected
melody. To disable this feature, set "of" on the display.
Note: when Vibralarm is enabled (see par. below) the call tone won't be heard.
Vibralarm
ALAN 777 is equipped with the function "Vibralarm", which provides a silent alert for
incoming calls.
To activate it, follow these steps:

Dual Watch

3. Press MODE [4] button 9 times, until "Rx Tx" is displayed.
4. Push the / controls, the Dual Watch can be activated by selecting the second
channel to monitor.
5. Push PTT [8] for confirmation or wait for 5 seconds. The transceiver will start
monitoring the two channels.

Tastatur-Bestätigungston

Tastendruck!
Ruftöne auswählen

Beim ALAN 777 können Sie 3 verschiedene Rufmelodien wählen, mit denen Sie sich
bei anderen Teilnehmern bemerkbar machen können. Sie können den Ruf auslösen,
wenn Sie 2 x schnell hintereinander auf die Sendetaste PTT [8] drücken.
Auswahl der Melodien:
1. bei eingeschaltetem Gerät 7 x MODE [4] drücken, bis Sie "CA 1" sehen.
2. Mit oder [7] eine der 3 Melodien (oder keine = of) auswählen.
4. Bestätigen mit PTT [8] oder 5 Sekunden warten.
Die gewählte Rufmelodie ertönt bei Schritt 2 zur Kontrolle über den
Lautsprecher. Anmerkung: Sofern die Gegenstation auch ein ALAN 777
benutzt und stumme Alarmierung (VibraCall) eingeschaltet hat, wird bei ihr
statt der Rufmelodie der Vibrationsalarm ausgelöst. Einen Vibrationsalarm
können Sie auch auslösen, wenn Sie keine Melodie ausgewählt haben.
Vibracall (Vibrationsalarm)
Ihr ALAN 777 kann auch einen Vibrationsalarm empfangen, wenn Sie nicht durch
Ruftöne gestört werden wollen.
So schalten Sie den Vibrationsalarm ein:
1. Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät 8 x MODE [4] drücken, bzw. so oft, bis das Display
zeigt.
3. Mit oder die Funktion auswählen (ein oder aus).
4. Bestätigen mit PTT [8] oder 5 Sekunden warten.

Tonos de llamada
Alan 777 puede enviar 3 tonos de llamada diferentes. Para enviar esta señal de
audio a otros usuarios, pulse dos veces rápidamente la tecla PTT [8]
[7].
Para seleccionar los tonos de llamada:
1. Encienda la radio
2. Pulse la tecla MODE [4] 7 veces, hasta que en el display aparezca "CA 1"
3. Pulse / [7]: escuchará las tres melodías preajustadas
4. Confirme la melodía deseada pulsando la tecla PTT [8] o espere 5 segundos
Ahora, cada vez que realice una llamada, lo hará con la melodía que ha seleccionado.
Para desactivar esta función, siga el mismo proceso y ajuste "of" en el display

Vibralarm
Su ALAN 777 dispone de la función "Vibralarm", la cual le proporciona una alerta
silenciosa ante llamadas entrantes.
Para activar está función, proceda como sigue:

6) Quando il ricetrasmettitore rileva la presenza di una trasmissione su uno

sintonizzato sul canale per tutta la durata della comunicazione. Alla fine
della comunicazione dopo circa 5 sec riprenderà la funzione Dual Watch, se
vogliamo comunicare con questo utente premere PTT [8].
7) Se si vuole comunicare durante la funzione Dual Watch premere PTT [8] e la
radio trasmetterà sul canale da cui abbiamo fatto partire il Dual Watch. Alla
fine della nostra comunicazione dopo 5 sec la radio riprenderà la scansione
tra i 2 canali.
8) Per uscire dalla funzione Dual Watch premere brevemente il tasto SCAN
[3].

Sobald Sie von einem anderen ALAN 777 einen Ruf empfangen, spüren Sie
den Vibrationsalarm. Der Vibrationsalarm arbeitet nur, wenn auf beiden Seiten
ALAN 777 benutzt werden.
Zweikanal-Überwachung (Dual Watch)
Müssen Sie auf einem bestimmten Kanal ständig empfangsbereit sein
(Prioritätskanal), dann können sie diesen Sie diesen Kanal besonders
markieren. Selbst wenn Sie auf einem anderen Kanal auf Empfang sind, wird
Ihr ALAN 777 immer wieder kurz auf diesen besonderen Kanal zurückschalten
und prüfen, ob dort Funkbetrieb stattfindet. Wenn das der Fall ist, schaltet das
Gerät auf diesen Kanal um, ansonsten wird wieder der andere gewählte Kanal
überwacht.
1) Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät den "Erstkanal" auswählen" (siehe auch unter
"Kanalwahl")
2) Jetzt 9 x MODE [4] drücken, bzw. so oft, bis "Rx Tx" erscheint.
3) Mit oder zwischen of und P1 ... P8 bzw. 1...69 als "Zweitkanal"
auswählen.
4) Mit PTT [8] bestätigen oder 5 Sekunden warten.
Das Funkgerät überwacht jetzt beide Kanäle und stoppt ggf. auf dem Kanal,
auf dem Funkbetrieb stattfindet. ca. 5 sec nach Ende des Funkbetriebs startet
die Zweikanalüberwachung wieder. Mit der PTT Taste können Sie sich in ein
Gespräch auf dem Kanal einschalten, die Überwachung stoppt dabei.
5) Abschalten der Zweikanalüberwachung durch kurzen Druck auf SCAN [3].
