Go to "GA4 peripheral check".

Is the menu display brought up?
YES
Select the color bar from the
process mode Pattern menu.
Is the projection image displayed
correctly?
NO
Is the CW-INDEX value shown in
the process mode DLP menu
within the standard value range:
130–2?
YES
Set the signal generator to output
a RAMP signal.
Check FL8141 - FL8148 using an
oscilloscope. Is a pulse being
output?
NO
Are signals present at TL8106 -
TL8111?
NO
Go to "IC8004 peripheral check".
No
Set the input signal type to
RGB.
NO
Go to "Check OSD.".
YES
End of "GA4 peripheral check"
NO
Adjust the CW-INDEX.
YES
The J5 connector or the
formatter unit is defective.
YES
IC8029 (GA4) is defective.
