Using energy in a responsible manner does not only save money
 Try opening the door as little as possible, especially when the weather is
warm and humid.
 If you open the door, close it as fast as possible.
 Permanently check , if the appliance is well-ventilated. The appliance has to
be well-ventilated from all sides.
 Set the temperature control from a high to a low position as soon as it is
possible. This depends on the amount of contents and the room
temperature.
 Encrusted ice causes a higher energy consumption. Defrost encrusted ice if
its diameter is more than 3 mm ( 1/8 '' ).
 Occasionally clean the rear of your appliance with a brush or a vacuum
cleaner to avoid an increased energy consumption.
 Disconnect the appliance from the mains if you do not operate it.
 Always keep the door seals clean and in a proper condition.
