 The bottles should be stored lying flat. Now the wine always touches the
cork, so the cork will not dry and shrink. The wine will not come into
contact with air and will not oxidize.
 Store opened bottles standing to minimize the oxidation-surface.
 Cool rosé wine, white wine and champagne at least 2 hours before serving.
 Serve red wine at room temperature and light red wine, e.g. Beaujolais,
slightly cooled.
 You can store opened bottles 2 days (white) or 3 days (rot) in the appliance.
 You can store opened champagne bottles 1-2 days in the appliance when
using a special bottle top (available at your local wine shop).
 Cork up an opened bottle again before you put it into the appliance.
Different kinds of wine need different serving temperatures.
For the relevant values look at the schedule below:
Wine
Rosé wine
White wine
Light sherry
Red wine
Fortified wine
Dark sherry
Champagne
 The more bottles you store in the appliance at room temperature, the more
time the appliance needs to cool them. In this particular case increase the
cooling temperature for a short period of time to accelerate the cooling
process.
 Decrease the cooling temperature as soon as the desired temperature has
been reached; so you will save energy.
 Do not open the door too often. When you open the door, the cooled air
will escape. Keeping the appliance closed will save energy.
