Initial operation
Use the brackets to attach the RO Ion Exchanger on
the RO Station (1), and connect with the blue hose
(pure water) (2).
Depending on the water volume, the filter material
has to be exchanged in regular intervals ! This is the
case when the colour changes from the light initial
colour (bluish purple red) into dark (rusty orange).
The RO Exchanger should be fitted in a light-
protected area. Daylight may accelerate the colour
change !
A mixed-bed ion exchanger with colour change is
used as a medium (article No. 8550.501). It should
be stored in cool and light-protected place, safe
against drying; it keeps for a limited period of time
only !
If you want to use the Ion Exchanger for water
hardening:
Unscrew the cap (3).
Place suitable filter material. We recommend calcium
carbonate in particular (article No. 880.901 (4).
Screw the cap back on again.
Mise en service
A l'aide de ses pinces, fixer RO Ion Exchanger sur
l'osmoseur RO Station (1) et raccordez-le au tuyau
bleu d'eau pure (2).
Le matériau filtrant doit être fréquemment remplacé
et ceci en fonction de la quantité d'eau utilisée !
Le moment du remplacement est signifié par un
changement de coloration du matériau de couleur
claire (bleu - rouge pourpre) à plus foncée (rouille -
orangé).
RO Ion Exchanger doit être placé à un endroit abrité de
la lumière directe. La lumière du jour peut accélérer
le changement de coloration!
Le substrat de filtration utilisé est un échangeur
d'ions à lits mélangés avec changement de
coloration, référence 8550.501. Il doit être stocké au
frais, à l'abri de la lumière et ne doit jamais sècher.
Sa durée de conservation est limitée!
Si vous désirez utiliser Ion Exchanger comme
reminéralisateur :
Dévissez le bouchon (3).
Remplissez le corps avec un matériau adapté (nous
conseillons tout spécialement Calcium Carbonat
880.901 (4).
Revissez le bouchon.
