Setting up the telephone
Store number on a direct-dial key or quick-dial key

The telephone is in idle state.
•
Enter the telephone number or call up an entry from the repeat dial or call list.
•
Press the memory key
•
Press one of the direct-dial keys M1 ... M4 or a numeric key 1, 2, 3 ... 0, *, #, that
you wish to program as a quick-dial key.
Note: If you wish to enter a break (3.6 s) within a telephone number, press the key
at the desired position.
Note:
The telephone numbers stored remain stored as long as the telephone is
connected to an operational telephone connection (open-circuit voltage pre-
sent), or batteries with sufficient capacity are installed. If neither of the two
options of power supply for the memory is available, the telephone numbers
are lost.
Programming using the menu
Setting up/programming the telephone is carried out using a menu that is indicated on
the display. You open the menu using the key
the different sub-items. If you wish to call up a sub-menu, press the key
desired entry using the wheel and confirm the setting with the key
You can exit the menu without amendment at any time with the key
Setting the language
The initial display language is set to "German".
