Your telephone is manufactured for normal conditions of use. Furniture of today is coa-
ted with a conspicuous variety of paints and plastics and is treated with various caring
agents. Therefore, it cannot be eliminated that some of these materials contain consti-
tuents that attack and soften the plastic feet of the telephone. The feet of the appliance
mutated by the foreign material can possibly leave unpleasant traces on the surface of
the furniture.
For obvious reasons, the manufacturer cannot accept liability for this damage. There-
fore, please use an anti-slip underlay for your telephone - especially with new furniture,
or newly reconditioned furniture using paint care products.

Disposal instructions (protection of the environment)

At the end of the service life of the product, it must not be disposed of in the normal
household rubbish. Dispense of it at a collection point for the processing of electrical
and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, in the Operating Instructions
and/or packaging, advises you.
By the recycling of some components or raw materials from second-hand products,
you provide an important contribution for the protection of the environment.
Please contact your town/local government if you require further information regarding
the collection locations in your vicinity.
The symbol that you find on the packaging and product, advises of the environ-
mentally friendly disposal.

Battery/accumulator disposal

There is a statutory obligation to return all used batteries and accumulators; they must
not be disposed of in the household rubbish. Dispose of the batteries/accumulators in
accordance with the authorities conditions. Take them for recycling. The batteries/accu-
mulators are recycled, because they could, e.g. contain nickel - cadmium (Ni - Cd),
lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or mercury (Hg).
The batteries/accumulators are designated by symbols and their contents,
e.g.:
