j. Fastening the Rotor Blades
The rotor blades must be able to align themselves 180° to each other
solely by the centrifugal force.
• Therefore check the seating of the retaining screws (a) of the rotor
blades:
The screws may only be tightened firmly enough that the rotor
GB
blades still fold downwards when you tip the helicopter to the side.
• The steering lever (b) for adjusting the rotor blade on the upper
rotor rotation cannot be set.
k. Flight Operation

Switching on the model

Ensure sufficient space in order to undertake the first flight
experiments. Even if the indoor helicopter can later be flown in the
smallest quarters, it requires about 3 m free space in all directions.
• Set the model on a smooth and level surface, so that the
helicopter can freely glide and lift off.
• Set the helicopter about 2 m in front of yourself on the ground,
the tail pointing towards you. This way the direction of reaction
of the helicopter conforms to the direction of control.
• Unwind the receiver antenna completely and fasten the aerial
wire with an adhesive strip to the fuselage for traction relief.
• Pull the left remote control lever (pitch) totally back.
• Take care that the pitch function of the trim lever is
approximately in the middle position.
• Switch the transmitter on.
• Now connect the charged airplane battery to the receiver.
