Pulse – Setting of a target heart rate (THR)
( Notes for exercising)
1. Press the MoDe button (9) until a dot will start flashing next to the THR display.
. Enter the target value by using the SeT button (8). You can choose any rate
between 60 - 0 beates/minute.
3. Should you exceed during exercising your preset target rate, the heart rate
symbol will start flashing on the LCD-screen (5).
4. The symbol will stop flashing as soon as the heart rate returns to a level
underneath the preset target heart rate.
5. When the contact with the pulse sensors is interrupted for longer than 5 seconds
the screen (5) will display the symbol "P" and the energy saving mode will be
activated. Press the SeT button (8), to restart the heart rate (pulse) function.
Measuring the recovery pulse rate
The recovery pulse rate shows how quickly the heart rate recovers after
exercising. The results are shown in a scale from 0 (very good) to 6.0 (bad). The
speed of recovery increases through regular training, as you get fitter.
1. When finishing your training session step away from your fitness equipment.
Press the ReCoVeRY button (7) and hold the pulse sensors with both hands
tightly.
. A 1 min. countdown will begin (see picture ).
3. At the end of the count down the result will be shown on the screen (5) (see 3).
. Press again the ReCoVeRY button (7), in order to end the mode.
Body Fat Mode
The body fat percentage indicates the percentage of fat your body contains.
1. Press the MoDe button (9) for as long as 5 seconds until you hear a beep
noise.
. Enter the data required for the calculation of your body fat percentage, as
shown below:
Press the SeT
button (8).
3. Your data will be stored. The starting screen (see ) will be shown after 10
seconds.
. Press the MeASURe button (6).
5. Firmly grip the pulse sensors with both hands until you hear a beep signal.
