2. Intended Use

The product is intended for surveillance by means of the integrated camera. Operation can take place
directly via a 10/100MBit network (RJ45 connector at the back of the surveillance camera). The camera
also enables remote access through a web browser or e.g. an iPhone. The camera uses the innovative
H.264 video compression to transmit recordings clearer and more fluently.
The camera recordings can be saved directly to a network disc. The surveillance software included in the
scope of delivery
The camera and the included mains adapter are intended for dry indoor use only.
Power is supplied via the plug-in power unit included in the delivery.
The camera is equipped with integrated infrared LEDs for night vision. Please note that the images turn
from colour to black/white with increasing darkness and the resulting activation of the IR-LEDs. Bright-
ness is recognised by the camera through a photo sensor at the front.
Please note that watching strangers without their knowledge and consent with his camera is subject to
punishment under criminal law. Any use other than the intended use described above is not permitted
and may harm the product and result in short circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. The product must not be
modified or converted. Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions.

3. Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electric
shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in handling, operating or con-
trolling the product.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
