Early release mechanism

In the event of an operational error, it is possible to release
the crimp tool before it has completed the crimp.
• Take the pressure off the ratchet by pressing gently on
the tool's handles.
• Use a screwdriver to turn the release screw Ⓐ counter-
clockwise.
Operational errors can happen when the contact is
inserted incorrectly or when the wrong contact type is used.
Opening and releasing in the event of an operational
error
Never use force when opening or closing the four-indent
crimp tool! Use of force could damage the tool's
functionality.
