Establishing the position of the locator
Select the series type that you will be processing:
Han D
, Han E

The arrow Ⓐ will indicate the selected marking. The
locator will latch back into position when you release it.
Adjusting the crimping depth
In order to ensure the best error-free crimp connection, the
crimping depth (the gap between the crimping dies) must
properly correspond to the type of contact and wire diame-
ter in use. The proper setting must be used. These settings
can be found on the locator (refer to figure 6) or in table 2
on page 17. For example, the Han-Yellock
ponds to a diameter of 1.30 mm.
