Changing the tool.

Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before changing the tool, pull out the mains
plug.
Working with core drill bits.
Push the centering pin (d) through the
core drill head.
Turn the Quick IN adaptor sleeve anti-
clockwise and insert the core drill bit
with centering pin (d).
Let go of the adaptor sleeve and turn
the core drill bit until the adaptor
sleeve locks the core drill bit by spring-
ing back.
Working with reamers.
The key chuck is only suitable for drilling
with reamers.
Screw the adaptor onto the chuck and
insert into the Quick IN adaptor sleeve.
Clamp the bit in the chuck (c) using the
chuck wrench.
Operating instructions.
Never allow your
fingers to enter the
rotating parts.
First align the bit using the centering
pin (d) onto a grooved point or notch and
place on. Carefully begin to drill the work
piece until the entire cutting surface has
formed a circular ring.
While drilling, do not switch the drill
motor off. When retracting the core drill
bit and when interrupting the drilling
application, only take the core drill bit out
of the bore hole while the machine is run-
ning.

If the core drill bit should get jammed in
the material, switch the drill motor OFF,
turn the core drill bit clockwise using the
wrench by carefully unwinding it, and
remove.
After each drilling application, remove any
chippings and the drilled core, making
sure not to damage the jolt-sensitive cut-
ting edges. Do not touch the chippings
with your bare hand but use the chip
hook (f).
When changing the bits do not knock
against the cutting edges.
It is only possible to core-drill layered
material if the core and chippings are
removed after each layer has been drilled.

Cleaning and care.

Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or
more often if the power tool is used more
frequently:
Clean the venting openings.
Blow out the motor space from outside
with dry compressed air.
