BLUETOOTH

You can connect a maximum of two mobile phones to the DECT telephone
via Bluetooth, so that incoming calls to the mobile phones and outgoing calls
from the handset can be made on the DECT telephone. Please note, however,
that only one device can be actively used at a time.

Set handset

You can link up to two mobile phones to your device via Bluetooth, so that
when there is an incoming call to either mobile phone, you can speak on
your DECT telephone.
 In the "Bluetooth" menu, choose the "Set handset" entry with "OK".
 Choose the "Prepare handset for linking" display entry with "OK". The
message "System is in discoverable mode" appears.
 Activate your mobile phone's Bluetooth interface and start the search
process for external Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone.
Select the "MD 83166" entry on your mobile phone.
You may be required to set a password, depending on your mobile phone.
 The mobile phone is now connected with the DECT telephone via Blue-
tooth; lights up on the display and the corresponding LED on the
base station begins to light up.
Connection I stands for the mobile phone connected first, Connection 2
for the mobile phone connected last.
This coupling method may result in minor deviations during the coupling
process for various mobile phones.
Terminated Bluetooth connections are shown on the display as follows:
The corresponding LED on the base station begins to flash.
As the Bluetooth range is restricted, we recommend that you have the mobile
phone located near to the base.
