6. Montieren Sie den Sitzbezug, falls dieser demontiert wurde.
7. Stechen Sie zwei Löcher in die Rückseite des Sitzbezugs
an der Stelle, wo sich die oberen Bohrungen in der Halte-
rung befinden.
8. Führen Sie die beiden M 6 Innensechskantschrauben (7)
durch die Kindersitzstrebe (6), die Halterung (3) und
durch den Sitzbezug und schrauben Sie sie mit einem
Innensechskantschlüssel 6 mm an die großen Schellen.
9. Ziehen Sie alle Innensechskantschrauben fest.
Schiebebügel montieren
Da der Lenker als Schiebestange genutzt wird, muss er zuerst
von der Gabelhalterung demontiert und an die zuvor mon-
tierte Halterung an der Rückseite der Sitzlehne angebracht
werden.
1. Ziehen Sie das Gurtband und bringen Sie den Lenker in
Transportstellung, damit die Feder in der Lenkstange
entlastet wird. Siehe auch Kapitel „Trets Trike transpor-
tieren" auf Seite 20.
2. Entfernen Sie alle Kabelbinder der Bremszüge (8) und der
Lichtleitung vom Rahmen.
3. Entfernen Sie die M 8 Schraube (9) mit einem Schlüssel
mit Innensechskant 6 mm und einem Maulschlüssel 13 mm
aus der Gabelhalterung (10).
4. Führen Sie den Lenker unter dem Trets Rahmen und
zwischen dem Rahmenbügel zur Halterung (3) an der
Rückseite der Rückenlehne. Seien Sie vorsichtig, damit
die Bremszüge (8) und die Lichtleitung nicht beschädigt
werden.
5. Führen Sie die Lenkstange (11) in die Halterung (3),
stecken Sie die zuvor aus der Gabelhalterung entfernte
Schraube (9) in die Bohrung ein.
6. Schrauben Sie die M 8 Mutter auf die Schraube (9) und
ziehen Sie sie mit einem Schlüssel mit Innensechskant
6 mm und einem Maulschlüssel 13 mm fest.
7. Verlegen Sie die Bremszüge und die Lichtleitung span-
nungsfrei und befestigen Sie sie mit Kabelbindern am
Rahmen.

6. Reattach the seat cover (if applicable).
7. Make two holes in the rear mesh of the seat cover at the
position of the two holes in the top of the mount.
8. Insert the two M6 Allen bolts (7) through the holes in the
child-seat brace (6), the mount (3), and the seat cover;
then screw the bolts into the large clamps using a 6mm
Allen key.
9. Tighten all four Allen bolts securely.
Mounting the push bar
When converting the trike to a jogger, the handlebar must
first be detached from the fork mount and then fixed to the
push-bar mount attached to the rear of the seatback.
1. Pull the strap of the handlebar-locking mechanism, and
move the handlebar into the transport position in order
to relieve the tension on the spring inside the steering
rod. See also the section "Transporting the Trets Trike"
on page 20.
2. Remove all brake-cable (8) and light-cable clips from the
frame.
2. Remove the M8 bolt (9) from the fork mount (10) using a
6mm Allen key and 13mm open-end wrench.
4. Move the handlebar to the mount (3) behind the seat
by guiding it under the Trets frame and through the
D-shaped frame extension behind the seat. Be careful
not to damage the brake cables (8) and light cables when
repositioning the handlebar.
5. Fit the steering rod (11) into the mount (3), and insert the
bolt (9) that was removed from the fork mount into the
hole.
6. Thread the M8 nut onto the bolt (9), and tighten it using a
6mm Allen key and 13mm open-end wrench.
7. Use the clips to secure the brake cables and light cables
along the frame, ensuring the cables are not under ten-
sion.
