1. remove all packaging materials and check the product and accessories
for damage.
2. clean the kettle as described in Cleaning and Maintenance. heed all
Safety Information while doing so.
3. Fill the kettle with cold water and let it boil (see use). Pour out the water
and repeat the process one more time to remove any production residues.

uSe

1. unwind the mains cable (7) from the cable holder and guide it through the
recess at the edge of the base station (8).
2. Lift the water tank (11) off the base station (8) and press the lid opener (2)
to open the lid (1). Fill the water tank (11) with cold water up to the desired
water level. attention! note the maX and min marks on the water level
indicator (10). the water must not exceed or fall below these levels. Do
not overfill the water tank as water can spurt out while boiling.
3. close the lid (1) by pushing it down until it clicks into place.
4. connect the mains plug (7) to a suitable power outlet.
5. Place the kettle on the base station (8). two signals will sound, the LeD
power indicator (9) lights up red, green, and blue, and the LeD below the
temperature indicators (3) briefly lights up blue.
boiling water:
1. Press the on/off button
the water tank lights up red and the device starts the boiling process.
2. the water kettle turns off automatically once the water starts boiling. two
signals will sound and the LeD power indicator (9) turns off.
heating water:
1. Press the temperature control button
desired temperature setting lights up.
2. Press the on/off button
the water tank lights up according to the selected temperature: 50°c
green, 70°c blue, 80°c purple, 90°c light green; the device starts heating.
3. the water kettle turns off automatically, once the water has reached the
set temperature. two signals will sound and the LeD power indicator (9)
turns off.
Keeping water warm:
1. Press the temperature control button
desired temperature setting lights up.
2. Press and hold the on/off button
power indicator (9) inside the water tank lights up according to the
selected temperature: 50°c green, 70°c blue, 80°c purple, 90°c light
green; the device starts heating.
